Kevin's Take
The Pollock signing, resulting in a crowded outfield, may take the Dodger's out of the running for Bryce Harper. There are rumors that they are looking to trade Joc Pederson which would free up space but I suspect the Dodgers are done shopping for outfielders this offseason.
I like Nick Markakis as much as the next guy but don't really get the move for the Braves. They have a young team on the rise and a very good farm system that should make them a contender for the next decade. Now was the time to make a big splash in the outfield market. Bryce Harper would have looked really good patrolling right field next to Ronald Acuña Jr and Ender Inciarte.
Adding Adam Ottavino gives the Yankees a very scary bullpen which is probably a good move by Brian Cashman because I don't really believe in their rotation.
Update: I'd like to give credit to member a.j.ne04 for giving me the scoop on Marco Estrada. Gotta stay frosty out there.
